An Artful Life – A lovely weekend in New Hope, PA
Recently the hubby and I took a long weekend to celebrate our 9th anniversary. New Hope, PA is only a little over an hour away but feels like so much more. I find this area to be entirely inspiring, filled with gorgeous landscape, family owned eateries and eclectic shopping that I love so much. We spent three days enjoying all the splendor the area has to offer; walks along main street visiting my favorite A Mano gallery, lunch stops at The Blue Tortilla for their famous guacamole made table side and a heavenly stay at Barley Sheaf Farms.
The staff at Barley Sheaf were nothing short of amazing and truly made us feel at home. Thank You!!

A Peek into the Studio – Suprise Saturday Post
The studio is buzzing – we are at the height of our season and producing some of the loveliest work yet. I am so proud of the Momental Girls for bringing it all together.
Here is a look at some of our favorites from the past week. Susan’s understated lacy table numbers and escort cards, Heather’s enchanted woodland table numbers, Deeps lush lacy pocketfold invitations and Jennifer’s scarlet red rose hand-painted with soft gold accents.
Take a look at my blog reads from this morning…

Peacocks, Willows and Eventology – The Collaborative Process
One of the most exciting parts of my design days is when I have the chance to collaborate with other vendors. Recently I created items for 2 events. Randy from Wicked Willow noticed my stationery pieces and the I DO Brunch last month and contacted me to create several items for a 18th Annual Great Chefs’ Dinner in Baltimore. Her short description of the tablescape was all I needed to roll with the design. I chose my peacock feather illustration with hand-painted strokes of copper throughout. Shimmering aqua cardstock was a unexpected but quite savvy choice. Randy created magic with crystal, feathers, orchids, bronze birdcages and shades of aqua. I can imagine a stunning ocean interpretation of this design – white coral anyone?
Eventology o9 was a fabulous event (at the Omni Hotel in Indianapolis) for industry professionals orchestrated by Katasha of K Sherrie and Company. I created custom thank you notes for each attendee featuring a personalized wrap, gray satin pull and gunmetal cardstock pocket presentation. My signature petal bloom was hand-painted with touches of shimmering deep lilac and a tiny rhinestone embellishment. Take a look at this amazing palette of orange, fuchsia and black – wow!

Momental on Snippet and Ink!

Anyone planning their day or in the business of weddings has been captivated by the smart inspiration boards of Kathryn at Snippet and Ink. Each day she crafts boards meant to inspire brides, trends and color palettes. Kathryn also features Real Weddings and this week she chose Jenna and John’s Derby themed celebration.
I have to admit I was a bit giddy on Saturday morning when I caught the first glimpse of the post – she chose a lovely shot of Jenna’s Vintage Stamped Tree Invitation and told a so sweet story of the brides most cherished moment of the day – be sure to take a look.
While you are there take a peek at Kelly and Ryan super fun coloring book idea!

Real Weddings Friday – Jenna and John 05.03.2008
In honor of Derby week I thought a post about Jenna and John’s South Carolina wedding would be fitting! Jenna crafted her wedding details with a Derby theme in mind. The ladies wore hats, mint julips were a plenty and as you can see from the photos, no detail went untouched!
The talented Christine Gallagher captured every moment – thanks Christine for access to these amazing photos!

Everything from patterned paper cones hung on mahogany Chivari chairs to the perfect hue of soda bottle refreshment were in visual harmony. One of my favorite details are the vintage urns dripping with lush peonies, orchids, waxflower and more.
Thanks again Jenna and John – it was a blast working with such a creative couple!
