Sample Day at Momental – Painting, Painting, Painting!

Well, yet another Friday and of course another sample day! This week I created three new paintings.

The first was a lovely Stargazer Lily…this bloom is seen a lot in wedding bouquets and centerpieces. I thus wanted to give it a new fresh look, with my signature textured details. This lily looks striking on Rebecca’s punchy pocket in fuchsia shimmer!

The second is a white peony. Any artist knows that capturing white is very difficult. I took a soft spin on this illustration with shadows in shades of blue and green. I love the softness against Allison’s white and ecru ensemble, highlighted with taupe paisley accents. So posh and pretty!

The third is a regal peacock with a elegantly whispy tail.

Momental does Halloween!

Today we worked on nearly 20 sample creations and proofs. By far our favorite of the day is Jessica’s Halloween themed design above. We used shimmering coppers which play perfectly with the oak tree silhouette. Our favorite detail is the shimmering filagree pattern border. The look is dramatic, a bit spooky but ultimately elegant!
